About CPSA District 212 - Arizona
CPSA District Chapter 212 is a subset of the international organization, the Colored Pencil Society of America. Though they offer some of the same services, such as workshops, Exhibits, etc., they operate at different levels.
District Chapter 212 is a chapter that covers the state of Arizona; a large area with over 70 members and growing. Our main purpose is to bring together artists who are like-minded in their choice of art media, to promote camaraderie and to provide a venue for meetings and educational activities. Since the Chapter covers the entire state, we try to have each meeting in a different location so that the same members are not always driving to the meetings. Our meetings are fun events with programs of different subject and different presenters, some show and tell and some hands on activities. Join CPSA District 212CPSA DC 212 Phoenix/Tucson Dues

Each chapter is a self-governing group of CPSA members that operates to promote colored pencil art within its own area. By promoting camaraderie and education locally, the chapters provide additional opportunities for their members and help CPSA by attracting new members. CPSA members are free to join one or more of over 25 district chapters around the country. Although CPSA and the district chapters offer some of the same services (exhibitions, workshops, etc.), they operate at different levels. The focus of CPSA is on the entire membership and the art public at large. The district chapters, on the other hand, focus on members and events in their local areas.
